Behind the helmet, to the left, is an apple tree. You can't see it really. That's what all this is about. Years and years of neglect has made the bushes take over so you no longer can get to the tree, nor find the fruit on the ground.

It's a good apple, Malus domestica, excellent for making applemust, which is what we intend. It looks like a good apple-year so far, a couple of years ago we had 40 litres of applemust to share. Hopefully this year will bring the same kind of harvest. That's worth a bit of work.
