Bumper Crop

Bumper Crop - hardly! My neighbour gave me a tiny squash plant at the beginning of May. I planted it on in a big pot and it grew like crazy - I could almost SEE it growing. And there were lots of flowers. But only ONE squash developed any bigger than a golf ball size. I must be a rubbish gardener. The same thing happened with a cucumber plant I was given last year. It produced ONE very delicious cucumber!

Or maybe these plants never do well in pots?
