In a twirl.

The dogs were in a twirl earlier as the thunder and lightening arrived. Ali has decided at 91/2 years old she is frightened of thunder. She doesn't mind fireworks (as yet), but thunder is something else. I think it must be the pressure in the air.

Tommy, Ali's brother, and Kiri's son arrived for his little holiday as the storm reached us! He doesn't like thunder either. It's going to be an interesting few days, although he seems quite settled at the moment.

Been melting hot again today. I had a full eye checkup this morning, all okay, although a slight change in my left eye. I've got a different strength contact lens to try out in that eye to see how I get on with it. The joys of ageing!

I think I will sleep downstairs tonight as upstairs is just too hot.
