Ta da!

Finally, after sprouting up accidentally in my garden the sun flower has flowered. Incredible given that it endured the worst thunder and lightning storm that I have ever experienced last night. 
The storm rumbled on for hours and hours, crashing and flashing, keeping me awake for most of the night. My house only suffered a couple of leaks and a few missing tiles but Perth suffered very badly. Schools flooded, rivers flowing through many streets, power cuts........ What a night it was. 
However, I am currently in my garden in the beautiful sun listening to the bird song and horses galloping. So all is just feels like a distant memory.
