Yesterday I got an e-mail to say that the printer was in at Curry's.
Went down with the email showing the order number and went in to collect it.
Showed it to the manager at the Collection point (when he eventually arrived) and was told I had to tell them via the e-mail/app. That required pen and paper to take a note of the 16 digit number to be able to put it in on the next Lord alone knows how many pages (I lost the rag and left it to SWMBO). Then, after sitting in the car for 10 minutes waiting a shop assistant came out and wanted to know the card number that had been used to top up the pre-paid gift card  ........... despite it having all been done on-line.
The High street isn't dying .... it is being killed by Shops like Currys (and objectionable managers - it is the 3rd time I have spoken to him and every time he has deserved a punch in the mouth).

The printer instructions are pretty poor and the system for getting help (all to do with ink and a hiccup in its connecting to the wifi) was 'slightly frustrating/annoying' to the point of giving the screaming ab-dabs.
However, I eventually got through to a real person.
It was really hard not to laugh though because I thought I had got through to some porn line with the woman trying to put on a deep, seductive voice (and failing). SWMBO even recorded some of it while trying not to wet herself laughing.
Eventually everything was sorted and some test prints were done using different settings. All of them turned out acceptable.

Apart from that bit of fun and games .......... food deliveries seemed to take less time due to a lack of traffic for some reason.
A bit of turning, a bit of weeding, a bit of tea drinking and that is about it.
