Still too hot and humid to venture very far.

So rather disconsolately standing on the front driveway next to the past its best Buddleia looking at past their best Peacocks and Red admirals, I raised my eyes to the roof of the Victorian mansion across the road
A blip was there for the taking.

In other news, our interest in American politics and society is such that we have just taken out a years subscription to the electronic version of The Washington Post. May have to cut down on sleep to find time to read it!
