Little Cheyne Court Wind Farm

When I took this photo earlier of a Nordex N90, I was standing directly under the rotors of another of these. Each of the rotors on the N90 can be up to 58m long. The sound, although not loud; was quite scary in a subtle way.

The £60m wind farm, at Little Cheyne Court on Romney Marsh, has 26 wind turbines, each 115m (377ft) high to the tip of the rotor blade. Source: BBC
