The Great Blizzard of 2013?
We have survived yet another television-generated weather non-emergency.
Remember when we didn't used to evaluate the storm until after it happened?
Now we are told in advance, yet when it does turn out to be really really bad (like Katrina or the storm that flooded New York City), it seems to come as a surprise.
It's the "boy who cried wolf" syndrome at work. They are wrong so often, we don't believe them when they're right.
Well Ryan came home for this one, and Justin even brought his family to spend the weekend, since we have a generator and a wood stove. So far, we have not lost power and there is a lot of snow out there, but it's not sticking and there's no wind so there aren't a lot of limbs down.
