Among the Wicklow Hills

Cairn
A cairn is a man-made pile (or stack) of stones. The word cairn comes from the Scottish Gaelic: càrn 


Went up the Wicklow hills in Glendalough with my son in law Sean. I struggled a bit chest wise could be that I am getting on a bit but won't admit it. Glad I was never a smoker. Always remember being in A&E one night with my mother. She had lung damage from smoking from an early age.  Anyway I made it up to the top and this is Sean adding to the Cairn. You have to do this, it is a bit of a suspicious thing too. We finished the day off with a nice meal in Laragh.
