Visions of Van Gogh

Stupidly hot day again today! (Staring the obvious I suppose)
I went into the garden early to pick the last of the beetroot and onions and then weeded the two beds they came out of, by 9.30 I had already worked up a sweat for the day! And stung myself on bloody nettles!
Headed back inside to peel some apples my aunt gave me yesterday and then stewed them ready for porridge breakfasts is crumble(less) and yoghurt.
Then I decided it was too hot to do anything major. Showered just before seeing the osteopath today - made absolutely no difference, sweating buckets within 5 mins of being there!
Called into my cousins in the way home (those from the blip the other day) and had a good catch up. Child 1 on an even keel (seems to have gone through the pre-teen horrors), child 2 long term not great but seems to be over the horrors of the weekend and child 3 still waiting for an MRI (consultant now self isolating, so more delays) on the positive the physio therapy she is receiving seems to be working.
As I drove home I passed a field of sunflowers. Only had my phone and couldn’t get close enough to get a decent shot so have jazzed this up with an art filter. Can Gogh certainly did do better :-)
