Doughnut Day the 12th

Doughnut Day is an annual Celebration of a lovely day we had 12 years ago. We tend to use it for important things such as a divorce, an Engagement, House move and a new car purchase, usually marked by a day on Brighton Beach eating doughnuts.

But......its a Sunday....its hot...there is a pandemic...Bella has a Beach phobia and I didn't fancy going to the beach with all those things stacked against us so we didnt.

Mr W went on a bike ride with a mate and came back with a packet of Doughnuts from Sainsburys as a surprise. The 1st time he has been near a supermarket since March!!! He even got the sun lounger cushions out!!!! 

So thats how we celebrated Doughnut Day this year and actually - it was perfect.
