Three hours of thunder storm and torrential rain didn't  affect  this tough little rose bud.
It's  name is The Poets Wife.
Re; yesterdays Blip of the shipwreck, I emailed the local expert on the shipwrecks on this stretch of coast, I have copied his reply for those who may be interested.
This is what we call “The Mussles wreck” because it is covered in mussles.
I personally think it’s the remains of a Mersey flat most likely abandoned after WW2 and sunk at sea.

The reason I think this is that in sailing ships, the other possibility,  the usual method of construction on vessels of this length Is using iron knees to strengthen the structure.

These take a long time to rust away and are present long after the wood rots away, in the case of this wreck there are no iron knees, at least one brass pin but no iron knees.

Also the bow is quite rounded and upright which Mersey flats are, so my best guess is a Mersey flat !
