Magnificent Male Mouflon

..... and two of his lady friends in extras. I saw 6 males in a gully high up above Torgon. Having looked for them for the previous 2 hours, I was happy to see them but they were in a place that was not easily accessible. 

In Switzerland mouflons never got introduced. Two populations have naturally migrated to Switzerland coming from France in the beginning of the 1980's and have settled in the Lower Valais - one in Morgin-Torgon and one in Champery. As there are only approximately 200 Individuals, I was very lucky to see them.

My knee seems OK tonight after a restful afternoon watching Il Postino at a friend’s in Montreux. He is not well at all but you wouldn’t know it.
