In Memoriam

As seen on my bicycle ride to school... a temporary art installation by Luke Jerram in Park Spoor Noord called In Memoriam. The flags are made from bed sheets from hospitals to remember the casualties of the COVID pandemic, to honour all staff in hospitals and care homes, but also to reflect on the huge impact the pandemic has on our day to day life. The installation is organised by the ‘Zomer van Antwerpen’ - the organisation that normally organises theater performances throughout Antwerp in the summer holidays.
