No breeze

No breeze at all today, humid and draining. No fun at all being stuck in a wood lined, attic office!

This evening I was invited to a (small yet exclusive) BBQ at the gliding club for my friend’s birthday. We compared notes on the unbearable weather. I heard how during the afternoon the huge workshop fan got dragged out to the caravan park in an attempt to get some air flow around my friends melting in the heat!

Later in the evening, Jackie and I cooled our feet in her new paddling pool - bliss - while Jules tried to spot the comet.
