Summer Heat

.... Triggered a monumental storm in Tywyn but we were half way across the country by then.   Warm when we left home but sooo much hotter in the East.  Unpleasant.

Jamie finally got to see his Mum tonight, much delayed by the lockdown.   Good for them to be reunited.   He also has a new wheelchair, picked up from a leading manufacturer in a sell off of ex demo models.  Their base was close to our route thankfully so a bargain obtained with no delivery costs.

Gentiana septemfida above, snapped in the garden of friends on the Welsh border.   Unlike our area on the western side of the mountains, their garden is suffering from a drought but this tough and easy plant still looked good.

Jamie's had a good day - I'm just glad not to have melted away in the heat!
