Still hot

We knew it was going to be another hot day so got out for our run early. Washing was ready to hang out when we got back so hubby did that while I had a quick shower and changed. Popped round to water daughters plants, pick up prescription and get shopping at small Sainsbury’s. Hubby thought the socks would dry in the sun if spread out on the garden table, they did but Hetty decided to steal them and managed to get some off the table and was chased round the garden to retrieve.
Hetty had Vets for vaccination and they are still doing car park handover.
Ironing done and van packed for a couple of days away, dinner cooked and then out for evening walk, I thought it would be cool but it wasn’t. I keep walking past this fig tree hanging over a wall, it is really lovely and full of figs. Only 20 pages left in current book but think if I try to read them now I will fall asleep.
