Point and Shoot

First Gallery

The Walker was my first gallery visit, mainly because with so much to choose from in Liverpool, I was drawn to the Linda McCartney exhibition. There were pictures of famous people and her family, many of them striking an informal note.  The pictures that have made me rethink some of my own photos are the ones that were unfocussed, some including car window frames.

Everyone was masked and spaced and it was cool enough to be comfortable though it was good to be out in the fresh air afterwards. Although risk assessments had to be made before reopening, I feel that galleries and museums should have been able to open as soon as they could implement a scheme to control numbers, as I have rarely found them to be crowded.  This was one of the busier visits.
