The people of this village never lost hope on getting their pump installed. They were using open wells as a source of water and though these they were in bad condition, the people still used the wells for they had no choice. Many people in the village are very poor and they rely on farming as a source of income as they sell maize and soya beans. They have no preschools in the area and the primary and secondary schools are in far distances. The area has very few trees as they cut the trees for charcoal and firewood.
