A Winter day

It was minus 12 C when we woke up this morning. Our son M should participate in the Holmenkollen 25 km long ski race. I wanted to take a blip of him when he started, but missed him in the crowd. Took a blip of the near by river though. He was satisfied with his restult 1 hour 46 min and 58 sec. I was proud. That is 4 min 16 sec pr km and 14.02 average km/hour. The tracks went uphill at the most. I am remembering and thinking that all the time Mrs B and I pulled our sons, when they were children, aroud in the ski tracks, and they were crying and screaming and we were arguing, giving them chocolate baits or promising to go to chinema or whatever, that what we saw today can be a reward to us. I felt like that. Our grown up boys love to go skiing today. We all still do.
