Missed being with Mountainbrew on our wedding anniversary. Next year will be half our life married. Have only been apart on the 8/8 a few times before, my suppressed romantic side trying to surface...

(Upcycled tent fly, that represents a full lockdown weekends work) The rain was beautifully light, so I bivvy'd to give pk the privacy of the princess option with the double bed to herself. I was secretly hoping for stars, but was entertained by bats with a beautifully cooling light rain on my face all night.

Grateful for a beautiful night in nature; and a long partnership with such a wonder.
