MYSTERY BIRD
Just as we were returning from walking Angus & Scout, we saw this bird fly into our neighbor's tree. I noticed it because its wings were bright blue,
so I though it must be a Scrub Jay. It posed for me for a long time, as I took shots closer & closer. This blip illustrates the limitations of the
iPhone camera & the overly excited photographer.
I did some research, & think because it has a rust color underside,
with blue wings, it might be a WESTERN BLUEBIRD. I am excited if it is.
We had Eastern Bluebirds in Michigan & they were wonderful visitors to our feeders.
If any you are familiar with Birds of Southern California, & can
identify it with certainty, I would be very happy.
