Good As New

This week they unveiled and took away the scaffolding from the newly restored castle tower, I am so impressed with the handiwork, it looks better than it did before the lightning struck it in March last year. Assume the new stonework will weather and blend in eventually.

Gratefuls:
- a lovely, restful day, with two livestreams from our church in Sutton Coldfield, and then church here as well
- a swim in the Lake, we are shocked at how low the water is
- a walk round the castle, extra of a Blipper blipping on the ramparts as we came back

- oh, and our first, tiny, purple fig, delicious, found when I was watering
