A thing of beauty!

There is no doubt these little red jewels are quite beautiful hanging on the bushes. It's almost a shame to pick them, but pick them I did!
Another day spent picking and prepping. The last of the Worcesterberries are now in the freezer. There are just a few red currants left to enjoy a few more days of sunshine. 
The fruit has been quite labour intensive over the last few weeks but we have plenty of fruit to last us for many months; worth all the effort. 
Another lovely day, luckily not as hot as many places in the South. My poor mum is struggling with the heat in London.
