Lakeside

Had a little cycle explore round and about in the morning. First encountered a truck festival at the rugby club. 300 trucks parked up, polished shiny by their owners. Looked like a parking lot to me, but it seems that people were paying to be there.
Next popped up to the lake - people arriving in drive to spend the day their, have a dip in the lake, paddle the kayak and browse the market. Seems very strange to me. When I was here earlier in the year this was my parkrun venue and very muddy at the time - not so now.
Visited another couple of neighbours in the afternoon. They’re had been a great help doing shopping for my dad during lockdown.
