What’s eating my “Echinacea”

When we set off for our quarry walk this morning the sun was shining but still a bit breezy. 

Back home and after coffee we got down to today’s tasks, another day slaving over a hot stove for me while Mr PC cut the grass.

Batch cooked  a chicken curry some for tonight’s dinner, another 3 meals frozen for a later date. 

My blip today is an echinacea bud not quite open. The first lot of flowers seem to have been eaten by something and they are a bit tatty. On looking at my photo Mr P C said he did like the vinaigrette effect, (we did laugh)

In other news, our daughter phoned and invited us out for dinner at a restaurant in town tomorrow evening.
