Got out by 09:00, was really pleasant. Walked to the goats* and back (*still sleeping?)

Before returning home looked down at the beach, already very busy. One family had the right idea, see blip.

Spent the rest of the day lying on the bed with the fan on, and fell asleep p.m. Then went for a cider at 6 pm at the hotel opposite. Had to be back to rescue a wonderful fennel bake from the oven, courtesy of Mr B. His first vegan bechamel, 10/10. Enhanced by my extra spicing: saffron, pimiento, nutritional yeast. Off to get a second helping.

Still around 30C. Now goes on till Wednesday, with on-going threat of thunderstorms
