In the hedge.

On our afternoon walk today the sun eventually dispelled the low cloud and accompanying cool breeze.
We had our usual Sunday livestream church followed by Stephen having.a telephone appointment with one of the nurses at our local hospital treatment centre.
He is going in for a procedure on Wednesday in preparation for hopefully having his next operation.
Naturally everything was curtailed in March.
He was originally scheduled for early September. Now it may be late September/early October.
Anyway all this is good news as it is to reverse his stoma.
Still got some bridges to cross but it will be in a Covid free hospital, as they have kept one just for that in the Group of hospitals dotted around Birmingham. He will go to Solihull.
No visitors and 3-4 day stay depending on the outcome.
We both will have to self isolate for two weeks beforehand.
So now we are trying to arrange visits to the family in the coming weeks.
Naturally we are not taking this for granted as the virus is still around.
But there is hope.
