The river Nidd meets the river Ouse.

There have been many many times when Darren as taken me for a walk on the opposite river bank, it’s where we walk when visiting Beningbrough Hall. But today is the first time we have walked on this side of the river. To our left is the River Nidd which flows in to the bigger river Ouse.
It’s much more peaceful on this side, there is a bit of a beach on the other side and it’s quite popular when it’s warm and sunny, there is no such beach on this side, plus this side of the river is less well known for walking, but seems popular with fishermen.
