Scarecrow Trail

This week the village of Gifford in East Lothian is having a scarecrow festival, so Martin and I popped along. As well as scarecrows, the place is known as a haunt of goblins, and the ancestor of actress Reese Witherspoon, who went to the Americas on the Mayflower and eventually signed the Declaration of Independence, hailed from there. 

The trail is available to view till 15th August, and you won’t be disappointed by this pretty village with its tea and gift shops either.
