Summer arrived today so we headed out with friends for a wild swim in Lough Derg from Kilgarven. OMG it was tropical heaven. Swim was gorgeous, I’ve been in colder indoor swimming pools!
Lovely chilled boaty family vibe at the pier and the dog was in his element in and out of the water.
Aches and pains slowly easing, going riding tomorrow to give the neck, shoulder, back, elbow, hip, knee and fingers a gentle trial ride. Painkillers and toast for breakfast will do. Everything ached driving to and from swimming today but completely forgotten whilst in the water - magic .
