Blackbird's Breakfast Hunt

Early morning coffee in the garden - watched this young female blackbird looking for her breakfast - amazing - she was aware of me all the time and in fact came within two feet of me 

The main picture is of her success the EXTRA shows the search - and success in a totally different spot  

I was very pleased that she had no fear of me and put up with all the clicking of my camera  - I believe she was the one little bird that our pair of blackbird's raised this year in a bush by the garage wall
