Arboretum Morning Light
Saturday morning in Walsall Arboretum. Temperatures were still high from the previous night and the park was busy with runners and walkers. Before Covid a ParkRun would be taking place and you could still see those that would have taken part, running around the usual circuit, including my cousin, who gave a cheery wave as we passed. It was a good idea as the temperature was more pleasant than later.
I also bumped in to the practice pharmacist from the doctor’s surgery. We had a short chat and he remarked that it was novel to actually see one of the patients; everything possible was being dealt with by telephone and video link. I got the distinct impression that this was a frustrating situation for staff at the surgery.
Unusually I had walked out without a camera, but used the phone’s to capture part of the flower display still created by the gardeners in the park.
