Looks Good To Me

Don't Fence Me In...

A certain dog in our household has been strongly objecting to being confined too long in the tiled area, while unsupervised and not in his crate. The gate is showing signs of excessive force being exerted by sharp teeth.

It took me quite a while to come up with an attempted solution (extra).
The plywood is attached to the vertical gate ends with clear plastic clips designed for mounting mirrors on a wall.  It has to be easily removable to open and close the gate, so the top clip screws are loose enough for the clips to pivot.

The above mentioned dog will not be happy to lose his view of the living/dining area and the outside. I'm sure we'll hear about it.
