Today’s swim

A much needed swim and wallow this afternoon. A surprisingly strong current further out which meant as hard as we swam, you don’t actually move anywhere. Like those little pools people put in their garden. Much easier closer to shore, I was in for a good hour, it was smashing.

Before that I took Will to get new school uniform- he was well up for the trip out of excitement, obvs.

Then, with a further nod to the weather, a steak and ale pie for tea. I made gravy too.

And then a balmy evening in Kate’s garden for all the lovely people catch up.
