welcome back

We went for another long walk into deepest Leith to check out the exhibition at the bloc gallery of photos of Leith and Portobello. Really enjoyed the exhibition. It's great to see a body of work printed large on a wall. We walked along old places, places I have never been to before, admired the remains of the 16th century artillery fort in Pilrig Park and enjoyed the sunshine. Edinburgh is changing fast. There are still some little old bits hidden, quietly rotting away. The boys caught up with us for a late lunch. A rather fine start of the weekend.
