WendsWanders

Headed off early in London. The tubes were still very quiet and most people were wearing their masks.
I walked over Westminster Bridge and met P for breakfast and then we headed off to the Garden Museum at Lambeth to see Derek Jarman: My Garden’s Boundaries.
Very interesting exhibition. My blip is one of the exhibits. A re-creation of the shingle beach at Dungeness in front of a photo of his cottage.
I visited the cottage a few years ago and thought the exhibit perfectly captured the reality.
The extras are the London Eye from Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament taken from the Tower of the museum. It was quite warm walking up the 131 steps of the spiral staircase but the view was worth it.
