I hadn't noticed the pretty flowers of the Water Mint growing by the river.   Apparently the leaves can be used for culinary purposes too
Charlie has been with me today and we've spent the majority of it lazing by the river in a cooling breeze.   
It's been hazy sunshine most of the day but the temperature exceeded yesterdays by another degree (35 degrees at 3pm).
