And the crowd goes wild...

Finally,at long last, Team Hummie entered the AOG NJ Arena today, lead by co-captain P-Hummie.  P flashed his red gorget at the crowd, eliciting screams of delight and thunderous applause.  Encouraged by the crowd, P zoomed around the stadium at speeds rarely seen by this reporter.  He flew forwards, backwards, sideways, up, down ...you name it.  

Things were going splendidly for Team Hummie ... until...P caught sight of co-captain (and rival) Attila the Hummie.  Attila was sitting in the bleachers making all kinds of rude gestures and talking smack the likes of which I've seldom heard.  You can see a small example in Extra - I mean, the nerve!  Like he didn't think we would see that big tongue sticking out! 

 Team Chippie, who were in the stands at the time (and have, themselves, been known to push the boundaries of good behavior), were mortified.  Team Captain, Chuffy, was seen covering his eyes in horror.  

I am happy to report that all the members of Team Butterfly were on their best behavior.  And Team Monarch Cat are well ahead in the Milkweed Munching trials.  We are keeping an eye on Team Great Golden Digger Wasp though, as one of them had a faint hint of katydid on her breath yesterday.
