Multicultural Festival

One thing Canberra does quite well is festivals. Today we went down to the multicultural festival (aka festival of meat on a stick), where there are endless rows of tents selling food and information on different countries. It's kind of like a giant version of the Taste Festival in Tassie, except with a focus on multicultural food and the tents sprawl out across the Canberra shopping district. Food is also heaps cheaper.

We ate from Ghana, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Korea, and had some delicious pink lady cider from Aus. There were lots of different entertainment, and music from across the globe. It was a good afternoon, and even a huge downpour in the middle didn't turn away the crowd.
