The Courgette Flower "Drop and Go" Game
Well here we are on day 7 of the AOG2020.
Today I want to take you behind the scenes to the Arcades.
These are the places where contestants and visitors alike are able to pit their wits against machines and try their own skills after, what are often, stressful days watching the athletes in the stadium and around the Olympic Village.
Here we have a great shot of the Courgette Flower in action having just deposited two insects on their respective flowers. This takes skill, dexterity and patience from the person operating the Courgette Flower along with a particular stage of the flower when it can hold an insect in its petals. No easy task.
It is a great way to pass the time as it helps the insects and the flowers whilst the games are in progress. Happily, this coincides with a need for insects on flowers so it is what we call "Win/Win"!
I trust that you are all enjoying the games - I will catch up with the rest of the action soon (when I say "catch up" - this is impossible in these games as there is SO much going on)
Please remember to tag your entries with AOG2020 and the date in August that you are posting. All entries are so welcome so please join in, we have six more days to go and we would love to see your entries.
P.S. this one is particularly silly as it is Silly Saturday!
Thank you for comments etc on my journal - it is a hectic time but I will try and see all of your entries along with my fellow AOG2020 judges :)
