Silly Saturday and AOG

The crowd cheered, the run up began, he placed the pole and up and up he went - until he cleared the bar and began the descent.  
The photographer took this shot just as he began his clearance - to the delight of all the onlookers, including Dandie, on the stands.  
Danny was delighted to be the best pole vaulter in the arena today - being the only one to clear this height - so his place in the final, and probably for the gold, is assured.
Dandie is so glad that Danny has found something sensible to do and is doing it so well.
