The Birds

We all had a late start after our late night.  I spent morning pottering and made some cheese and chive scones for lunch, which didn’t cook quite as they said in the recipe, but maybe there was a typo.

After lunch TT and I went for a walk at John Muir Country Park, along the  John Muir Way to Tyninghame, then back and along to the beach at Belhaven Bay.  We had to take our shoes off to get over the bridge as the tide hadn’t gone out far enough. 


It was then home to make tea and to facetime Grandma. 
With the thought of being back at work tomorrow, we booked something for the October school week.  Fingers crossed that there isn’t another lockdown.

When we got to the beach we watched the gannets flying around and diving.  As we walked along the beach we came upon a gannet feeding frenzy!
