Morning Light

This is the sun streaming in Shelly’s living room window this morning. Lovely way to start a very busy day. I zoomed with my volunteer group this morning. My daughter Helena co-facilitated today and it was fun doing it together. When that ended Shelly came over for lunch and then I started my painting ladies book club zoom And we talked for an hour and a half. Then it was time to take Mehitabel to the vets. She has a cold but otherwise came out great in the exam. Meanwhile a friend needed to get a COVID test so I took her to the test site. By the time I got home it was almost dinner time. Luckily it was Shelly’s dinner night so he fed me steak, Brussels sprouts and quinoa. We finished the evening watching tv together while Cory played and slept on my lap and Mehitabel lay above me on the couch. Finally it’s bedtime. Cory is in his safe room. I’m doing my Blip. Shelly’s listening to a book and peace has settled on all for the night.
