1930 Tracta Type E
There was a 1930 Tracta on display at a Fund Raiser for Operation Par that my Hubby and I sponsor every year. The event is called Poetic Justice and the Theme of the Gala was the 1920's in Paris. . The Gala event auction featured items that are seized by the Sheriffs department in drug busts . The money raised from this event funds numerous prevention and treatment programs at Operation Par (a substance abuse agency). Hence the name - Poetic Justice!! About the Car: There were only 50 Tracta E's made in 1930. It features a six-cylinder 2.7 liter 65 horsepower engine built by Continental. The color scheme is original, in black, dark blue and French racing blue. There are only two remaining Tracta E's in the world. This one was on loan from the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum. My husband in the picture was not on loan though!
