Dinner

We decided to try something different when we went out for dinner.  So instead of our usual kimchi stew followed by spicy fried chicken, we ordered a cheese ring.  It was huge.  We got a whole chicken (fortunately a small one) the cheese was around the sides.  The dish has to heat up on a hotplate, which is incorporated in the table, until the cheese melts.  Once the cheese melts the idea is to wrap your piece of chicken in cheese and enjoy.  Meals here are very hands on and messy, but you are provided with a glove and hand wipes.  We were very full after working our way through this dish.   I think we will stick to our usual smaller meal in the future, unless we are sharing with other friends. 

It is still very quiet here.  A few more people seem to be arriving from Bangkok, but that is it.  A new couple arrived at our condo two days ago, it transpired that they had in fact been in ChiangMai for two years already.
