Puzzle Me This

My lockdown blanket is starting to come together.

This is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, I started by joining groups of two, then created groups of 4, and now I've got 12 groups of 8.
In order to join each group in exactly the layout I want I've labelled each group of 8 into rows A, B, C and D.

There's a lot of sewing to be done........
