The editor's desk

I can think of no better place to spend a couple of hours editing before the work day. See extra for some (apparent) morning meditation!

But it was hot, hot, hot. and a lot of work to get through. A real  struggle to push through the oppressive heat. Afterwards I fled, for a cooling walk and a wonderful catch up with an old friend. We hit some pretty nostalgic notes, but had a lovely evening. Finally it rained a little, which was nice on the stroll home.

I am so glad it's Friday. Happy weekend all.
