Flopped

It's been that sort of day - hot hot hot.  

We are treating Leia with careful concern since the vet confirmed our suspicion of hyperthyroidism with a blood test 2 days ago.  She has classic symptoms, thin, constantly hungry and a fast heart rate.  It's common in older cats and she is 14.  

We are now embarked on a course of treatment of a pill a day to 'kill' the overactive thyroid gland.  As she's currently eating everything we give her, getting her to swallow it is not a problem at all.
