Snow day

Today winter came back and hit us big time, 30cm of snow has fallen since this morning.

I left for work this morning thinking I might get to go home early as it was really bad. It only took 15 mins as many stayed home and schools were closed. By 10 am they closed our work and sent us home as well. A nice way to start the weekend. It almost seems like a long one. I did however spend 2 hrs shoveling snow around my van today so I can get out bright and early tomorrow to go to a blood donor clinic.

I got this shot at 10:30 this morning of this poor person having to walk in the storm, normally I don't take pictures of people however this kinda shows what is was like. Thursday morning this same intersection had no snow.
